The BASL Travel Soccer Program requires a significant commitment from players and parents, above what is expected in our Saturday Morning Recreation League. Beginning with spring try-outs, youth will be evaluated for placement onto teams for ages 8-14 years. 

Once teams are created a non-refundable registration fee and one-year commitment will be secured by BASL for fall and spring seasons.  This commitment typically includes two practices per week in addition to a weekly game. 

Each season is comprised of eight games held mostly on Sundays, four of which involve traveling to other leagues in the Lorain and Cleveland areas.  In addition, the team may commit to tournaments and it will be highly recommended that players attend local foot-skill clinics.  

The program abides by the rules of American Amateur Soccer League of Ohio (AASL).
